YORK JUNIORS COURSE

6 week course starts Friday 21st January 2022
At the Rawcliffe REC

This course is for ages 8 to 13. Complete beginners welcome.

Classes have a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, but we also aim to promote respect, discipline and dedication to learning.
All drums and sticks are provided. All you need is a drink, comfortable clothing and plenty of energy and enthusiasm.

The course consists of 6 lessons where we will go through the patterns, movement and theatrical elements
of a specific piece, and work on fun drills and exercises to improve our playing, culminating in
playing the complete piece as a group at the end of the course.

The course starts on Friday 21st January, and continues on
Fridays January 28th, February 4th, 18th, 25th and  March 4th.
5.30pm - 6.30pm
(no class on Feb 11th)

Cost for the course:
£39 each

The Rec is easily accessed from Shipton Road (A19), via Howard Drive (opposite Rawcliffe Park) and St Mark's Grove.
Plenty of parking available at the venue car park.
