Ji-uchi drills for Shime Daiko (practice drills: 25 min tutorial)

In this video, we go through the four main types of ji-uchi (backbeat) Gobu gobu, Shichi-san, Mitsu-uchi and Matsuri. Drill 1 shows how to practice playing through each of these in succession at the same tempo. Drill 2 shows how to practice each of the ji-uchi leading with both the right and left hands.
