Getting to the Tengu Taiko Dojo BY CAR The Dojo is only about 10 mins drive north of the outer ring road. From the Wigginton Road roundabout on the A1237 at Clifton Moor, head north along Wiggington Road towards Wiggington. Go straight ahead at the junction for Wiggigton & Haxby, and keep going straight on, following Sutton Road and York Road. Take the right turning when you see the sign for Eastmoor, Strensall and the Green Park Business centre (see pic below). Follow Goose Lane and pass the York North Industrial Estate on your right. When the road bends to the left you should soon see a sign for 'Inner Space Stations Self Storage' and soon after you will see the 'Tengu Taiko Dojo' sign. Take the turning to your left, just after the sign, and you will see a compound with a tall grey fence immediately to your left. Drive in through the gate and the dojo is the first building on your left. PARKING Parking at the Dojo is limited to specific areas to allow access to the neighbouring units. Please do not park in front of unit 2 next door to the dojo. See the image below for suitable parking areas marked in green.
BY BUS There is a bus stop just outside our Dojo! **Bus times are fine for getting to the evening class, but there are no buses running after class, so organising a lift home is essential** The number 40 Coastliner bus runs hourly from York (near the train station) to Easingwold.
